The Village of Woodsfield has posted an update on their Facebook page about today’s power outage.
There will be a scheduled power outage May 23 beginning at 8:30 a.m. until approximately 3:00 p.m. This will only affect North Main Street beginning at Dairy Queen proceeding north to Moore Ridge.
The Village of Woodsfield has informed us that there will be an extended power outage on Tuesday May 23, 2023 starting at 8:30 AM. This outage is expected to last most of the day. This affects our building and tower so we have no way to stay online.
All GMN Broadband service will be down and our office will be closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this outage.

Our fiber provider (Horizon) has informed us of upcoming maintenance. All GMN Broadband service will be down during this work.
Work Date: 5/4/2023
Maintenance Window: 12:01 AM – 6:00 AM
Expected Impact: Sites will be HARD DOWN up to the entire maintenance window.
4/12/23 11:30 AM – Our fiber provider will be performing emergency maintenance starting at 12:20 PM. Expect brief outages. We will update when they are finished.
12:45 PM – Maintenance complete.

7:17 PM – All service is down due to a power outage in Woodsfield.
9:05 PM – Service was restored at 8:40 PM. Please power cycle your equipment if you do not have service.
The Sykes backhaul was realigned this morning and everyone should be back online. If you are not online, please power cycle your equipment. Instructions are on our troubleshooting page.

Our tower climbers informed us that due to a scheduling conflict we are now scheduled for Friday to repair the Sykes backhaul. We apologize for the length of this outage and appreciate your patience. We will update again if anything changes.
